......on the making of "German Gothic"German Gothic is an image captured this summer in Germany. I struggled with the approach to take since I felt that the original image was so powerful just as a photograph. I did change the sky and then chose to just muck it up and then bring the photograph back through the muck. This gave me the best of both techniques and also provided a mysterious effect to my subjects.
