Message from our President Patty Hallman,
You definitely don't want to miss this one. Adrian Henson was one of our print competition judges during this year's PPSC Convention, and the man really knows his stuff! Here's a little more info about Adrain: Adrian is heavily involved with his state organization (Professional Photographers of North Carolina) as well as being a PPA Councilor. He regularly travels throughout the country teaching and speaking and is an International Photographic Competition Juror in Training. He is very committed to photographic competition and has been honored with the Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Bronze awards as well as North Carolina's Photographer of the Year award and SEPPA's Best in Show, just to name a few. Adrian considers competition the greatest informal education around and owes the bulk of his photography success to it.
Adrian is also devoted to making photography better. He encourages sharing and openness among professionals and believes that "the rising tide lifts all ships." He believes that through education, we can return confidence back to the photography profession.
Adrian has earned his PPA Master of Photography, Master of Electronic Imaging and Photographic Craftsman degrees, and he is a Certified Professional Photographer.

OK, so here we go again...THE SHOOTOUT IS
NEXT MONDAY, OCT. 24 IN WHITMIRE! There was a problem with the
date on the Facebook event which had indicated the 17th...it's back to
the 24th (which is what went out several weeks ago to members on the
listserve). This is actually a combined monthly meeting between the Upstate and
Midlands districts (of course Coastal members are always welcome!) All
professional photographers are invited to attend this event, so come out to
support the PPSC and your fellow photographers!
